Rebuilt a WordPress site into Umbraco with online court booking, member accounts and logins. Hosting arranged and handled end to end.
Jad Codes is an Eastbourne-based web development company. We bring more than fifteen years of experience building websites for names like Costa and PureGym, now doing the same work for businesses that are tired of being told “that'll need a rebuild”.
Five things done properly, rather than a list of everything we could theoretically take on.
New sites on the current Umbraco. Document types that make sense, a back office your editors don't fight, and the Delivery API when you want a decoupled front end.
Rescue work for sites stranded on unsupported versions. Every URL preserved, content intact, and a plan that doesn't require taking the site down for a fortnight.
Brochure sites through to booking systems, customer portals and integrations with the software you already run. Fast, accessible, and written so the next developer can pick it up.
Deployment pipelines, zero-downtime releases, TLS, backups that have actually been tested by restoring them, and alerting that reaches a human before your customers do.
Monthly patching, monitoring and a block of hours for the small changes. The unglamorous work that stops a quiet Tuesday becoming an outage.
Selected projects across web development and hosting.

Assessed an ageing Umbraco platform for the move to a current version, then reviewed and moved the hosting.
A call to work out what you actually need. Free, and we'll tell you if you don't need us.
Scope, price and timeline in writing before anything starts. Nothing billed until you approve.
A staging site from week one and a short written update every week. No black box.
Handover, training, documentation — then a care plan if you want one.
Our experience spans 15+ years building and running websites, most of it deep in Umbraco and .NET, with expertise in servers and hosting.
That combination is the useful bit — we can build the site and run the infrastructure under it, so when something goes wrong there's nobody to point a finger at. Agencies bring us in when a job needs Umbraco depth they haven't got in-house. Businesses come to us after being let down by someone who built a site and vanished.
“What a transformation the new site is, its so much faster and also had made life so much easier from an admin point of view, now we can easily see members, bookings, courts and all sorts on the site at the press of a button! Best of all if we ever need anything we always get great support when we need it!”
We don't publish prices, because the honest answer depends entirely on what the site has to do — and a headline figure would either scare off the right people or mislead the wrong ones. What we do commit to is a fixed price in writing before any work starts, usually within a few days of talking, and no open-ended hourly billing on project work.
A straightforward brochure site is usually a matter of weeks from go-ahead. Bigger builds and migrations depend on scope, and we'll give you a realistic date rather than an optimistic one.
Regularly. White-label Umbraco and .NET work on a day rate, either as a defined project or slotting into your sprints. See working with agencies.
Usually. We'll audit what's there first and give you an honest answer about whether it's worth keeping or rebuilding — including when the answer is “leave it alone, it's fine”.
Everything current, plus the older ones people are stuck on. See upgrades and migrations.
It's our speciality, not our limit. We've built and maintained WordPress and Magento sites, and we're comfortable picking up whatever stack a job actually calls for.
Eastbourne, East Sussex — working with clients across the UK and further afield. Video calls for most things, in person when it's worth the trip.
Tell us what's going on and we'll come back within one working day with an honest view — including if it isn't a job for us.
